Pole videos all look the same now

I’ve been on an unintentional social media break lately, and each time I log in, I notice that I’m slipping further and further from what’s being pushed as the ideal.

It’s all the same pathways.

The same “sexy sad girl but make it artsy” aesthetic.

The same silver chrome 8 inches.

There’s something else that actually excites me even more, though:
Seeing my follower count drop.

Now, if I want to expose what I do to as many people as possible, it might seem on the surface like an uphill battle if people are leaving. The thing is, each unfollow brings me closer and closer to the people I want to be vibing with.

There was a time when I was at my peak as a studio girlie with matching pole sets and new Pleasers, but after I left traditional pole studio settings behind, I realized it was simply something to do. I didn’t ACTUALLY mesh with the blandness.

In my workshops and classes, the goal is to position myself as a plate of hot wings (all flats) with lemon pepper sprinkles in a sea of unseasoned, overcooked chicken breasts. The feeds have all forgone flavor, but I’ll always keep my sauce close by.
